For Independent Artists

We understand the challenges for independent artists when completing a project. After countless hours writing and refining your music, you then need to get your demos out to potential venues, labels, band members, or just to friends and family. We take on the engineering and production side of your vision so that you can focus on creating.

About Snack Shack

Matt Slack

I got into music at a young age thanks to supporting parents who put me into piano lessons. I later took percussion lessons, went to BYU studying percussion performance and have had many years playing, performing, writing, and recording music. Past and current musical experiences include: Performances at Warped Tour 2007, The Conservatoire de Paris, KBS Hall in Seoul Korea. Co-Founder of MSXII Sound Design with projects for Native Instruments, Ableton. Current head of audio at Bad Panda Games, and owner of Round Rock Music School.

Maxwell Butterfield

Since taking piano lessons, singing as a child, and playing trumpet in school, I have been heavily involved in music. I have continued playing in numerous bands since picking up guitar as a teenager, in addition to my work as a hired live and session guitarist. I am also always looking for problems to solve, which lead me to earn a degree in Electrical Engineering from BYU with additional studies and involvement in music and acoustics. Combining engineering and music brought the logical progression to studio work, where I have been happily creative and technical, primarily as a freelance recording and mixing engineer.
